Purpose and Conduct of the Flight Review

The flight review ensures pilots maintain necessary proficiency and safety standards. Conducted by a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), it's a personalized evaluation designed to identify strengths, pinpoint improvement areas, and enhance overall flight safety.
1

Not a Pass/Fail Test

The flight review is a collaborative learning experience aimed at identifying areas for improvement and ensuring the pilot is competent and safe.
2

Conducted by a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

The review is tailored to the pilot's specific needs and experience.
3

Alternative Programs

Completion of certain other training programs, like the FAA WINGS program, can also satisfy the flight review requirement.
